The history

Build in 1963 by the parents of the current owners, the Hotel Ecluse has made a name for itself after years of attending a diverse clientele visiting the region. After several renovations until 2010, it was decided to rebuilt on 2012 the hotel entirely to refresh its look with a new ecological design and the concept of “B-leisure” (the combination of business and leisure) was created, with the aim to provide a comfortable space to relax for those working in the capital, while at the same time keeping our spot as prime destination for tourists visiting the area.

The Concept

Inspired by the surrounding vineyards and the Moselle, we envisioned bringing together modernity and nature to the brand new eco-design of our hotel. Reliance on strong, raw materials helped achieved this vision, such as the use of wood, glass and cement, in addition to combining them with the soft tones of green and grey.

In order to bring in as much light as possible, large glass windows furnish the entire hotel, with every room boasting its own private terrace. The result is a boat-like structure [with a large deck-like terrace] that will make you feel as though you are cruising on the Moselle itself.
